Physalis /Golden berry

The cape gooseberry, also known by its scientific name, Physalis, a round, bright orange fruit, whose size varies from 1.5 to 2.5 cm in diameter. The fruit is covered by thin, inedible leaves, and it has internally a large quantity of very small edible seeds. The taste is slightly sweet and sour. They are source of vitamin A and C, phosphorus, calcium, iron, potassium.
